Dr. Matthew Holley is the founder and CEO of Holley Dental Group, where he is dedicated to serving the community with exceptional dentistry and delivering results that truly make patients smile. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, Dr. Holley has proudly operated his private practice in Prattville since 2001.

His approach to care blends advanced dental implant principles with a comprehensive philosophy focused on long-term oral health. Patients can expect compassionate, personalized treatment built on trust, communication, and a strong doctor–patient relationship.

A fun fact about Dr. Holley: He and his wife, Mecia, are the proud parents of four sons and proud grandparents to one grandson.

Associate Dentist

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Julie Sheffield began her academic career studying Polymer and Fiber Engineering at Auburn University before discovering her true calling in dentistry. After shadowing her dentist, and inspired by the story of her own oral surgeon, she realized she wanted a profession that blended science, hands-on skill, and meaningful patient care.

Dr. Sheffield earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UAB School of Dentistry in 2018, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at East Carolina University in 2019. She enjoys building relationships with patients, educating them about their oral health, and providing personalized care to individuals and families alike.

Outside the office, Dr. Sheffield loves reading, spending time with her husband, Nick, and their son, Samuel, and staying active with their dogs.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Brown brings more than 18 years of dental experience and a passion for providing comprehensive, compassionate care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and has experience in general, cosmetic, restorative, and emergency dentistry.

She is passionate about building trust with her patients and providing thoughtful, personalized care with a focus on advanced implant dentistry and long-term oral health. Dr. Brown’s goal is to help every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their smile.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time at the beach and all things sports.

Chief Operations Officer

 Elle was drawn to dentistry by a desire to help others while continually challenging herself to grow. She loves creating a successful practice and an environment where patients feel genuinely cared for and excited to return. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Elle also brings a strong clinical background and firsthand understanding of patient care to her role.

Her approach to patient care is simple: listen, care, and always put the patient first. Seeing a patient’s smile and confidence transform is one of the most rewarding parts of what she does.

Outside the office, Elle loves spending time with her husband, Cole, and their two children, Ellison and Emersyn.

Office Manager

Kayla brings two decades of dental experience and a genuine passion for caring for both patients and her team. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, she brings valuable clinical experience and a strong understanding of patient care to her role as Office Manager. She loves building lasting relationships, supporting those around her, and helping create a welcoming, organized environment where patients and team members feel valued.

One of her favorite things about Holley Dental Group is the strong sense of family within the office and the opportunity to help the team work together and thrive each day.

Outside the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and her daughters, Madi and Gracie. You can often find her cheering them on at volleyball games, enjoying time together on the lake, or spending time at church. Her faith and family are both an important part of her life.

Insurance Coordinator

Inspired by her sister, Kaycee chose dentistry as a way to help others and build meaningful relationships with patients. She especially enjoys educating patients and helping them understand and make the most of their dental benefits.

Her approach is caring, compassionate, and understanding, with a goal of making every patient feel heard and treated like family. Outside the office, she enjoys the beach, Braves games, family time, and home projects.

Treatment Plan Coordinator/Marketing Director

 Kayla brings a strong background in leadership, organization, and community-focused work to Holley Dental Group. Before entering the dental field, she served in a leadership role within the nonprofit sector, where she helped lead a department and support community outreach initiatives.

She is excited to bring that experience into a new environment while learning the dental field and helping create a welcoming, positive experience for both patients and the team. Kayla is known for being dependable, hardworking, and always willing to jump in wherever she is needed.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying involved in her community.

Hygiene Coordinator

Dentistry wasn’t originally part of the plan, but after joining Holley Dental Group, she quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their smiles. Having experienced dental anxiety herself, she understands just how important patience, compassion, and a relatable approach can be—especially for patients who may feel nervous about visiting the dentist.

She loves building genuine relationships with patients and being part of the warm, inviting atmosphere at Holley Dental Group. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family, crocheting, and line dancing. She also has an extensive collection of vintage Hens on a Nest and describes her home style as a little “grandmacore cottage.”

Lead Registered Dental Hygienist

Aspen was drawn to dentistry by a desire to care for others and help patients feel comfortable, especially those with dental anxiety. She takes a thorough, science-based, and judgment-free approach while making sure patients understand every step of their care.

She especially enjoys seeing patients regain confidence in their smiles and loves the teamwork at Holley Dental Group. Outside the office, Aspen enjoys spending time with Carson, walking her dogs, and watching movies and shows.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Melanie brings over 35 years of experience and a true passion for patient care. She began her career as a dental assistant and discovered a lifelong love for helping others through dentistry. Melanie especially enjoys educating her patients on proper oral hygiene and giving them the tools they need to maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Outside the office, she enjoys sewing, traveling, and spending cherished time with her four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Haden is passionate about helping others and educating patients so they can feel confident in their health and their smiles. She loves building genuine relationships with her patients and takes a compassionate, individualized approach to care by listening closely, communicating clearly, and creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment.

One of the most rewarding parts of dentistry for Haden is seeing a patient’s fear or anxiety begin to disappear as they build trust with the team. She also loves being part of the close-knit atmosphere at Holley Dental Group, where everyone works together to care for one another and their patients.

Outside the office, Haden enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks, traveling, and crocheting.

Registered Dental Hygienist

 Chelsea was drawn to dentistry because she wanted a career where she could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She loves building genuine relationships with her patients, educating them about their oral health, and helping make dental care feel less intimidating.

Her approach to patient care is gentle, thorough, informative, and always nonjudgmental. Chelsea wants every patient to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and knowing their care will move at a pace that feels right for them. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is seeing patients become more confident in their oral health and more comfortable coming to the dentist.

Outside the office, Chelsea enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband, their cats, and family. Fun fact—she actually considered a career in dentistry right out of high school and, after taking a different path, eventually found her way back to the field she truly loves.

Lead Dental Assistant

Sheyla was drawn to dentistry by a desire to help others and make patients feel comfortable, heard, and cared for. As a bilingual team member, she especially values being able to help bridge language barriers so patients feel understood and confident in their care.

She loves the positive, team-oriented atmosphere at Holley Dental Group and believes every patient should feel welcomed without judgment. Outside the office, Sheyla enjoys spending time with her boys and family, reading, and working toward her goal of becoming a dental hygienist.

Dental Assistant

Mary Kate brings a kind, caring presence to the office each day. Her journey into dentistry began after high school when she shadowed her sister, who was also a dental assistant, and she soon discovered her own passion for helping others through hands-on patient care.

As a dental assistant, Mary Kate is attentive, dependable, and truly enjoys making patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. She takes pride in being part of a team that works together to create positive experiences and meaningful results for patients.

Outside the office, Mary Kate is enjoying life as a new mom and loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys being outdoors, walking or running, and of course, a little shopping.

Dental Assistant

Isabel was inspired to pursue dentistry after seeing her sister’s own dental journey and the difference quality care can make in someone’s health and confidence. She approaches patient care with kindness, patience, and understanding, always working to make patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

She loves being part of the close-knit Holley Dental Group team and helping patients feel safe and confident returning for care. Outside the office, Isabel enjoys dancing, spending time with friends and family, growing in her faith, and learning about different cultures.

Dental Assistant

Payton was drawn to dentistry by a desire to help patients feel confident in their smiles. She loves building relationships with patients and creating a compassionate, uplifting environment where they feel comfortable and cared for.

She enjoys being part of the close-knit Holley Dental Group team and especially loves the practice’s patient-centered, spa-like atmosphere. Outside the office, Payton enjoys shopping, working out, spending time with friends, and being by the water. She also has a strong interest in facial aesthetics and is excited to be part of the practice’s Botox services.

Dental Assistant

Kalli was drawn to dentistry by seeing the confidence patients gain when they get their smile back. She especially enjoys assisting with crowns and implants and approaches every patient with kindness, support, and an understanding that everyone’s needs are unique.

Her faith is an important part of who she is, and she loves the friendly, welcoming atmosphere at Holley Dental Group. Outside the office, Kalli enjoys Bible study, worship, shopping, and making T-shirts.
