Dr. Matthew Holley
DMD | Founder and CEO
Dr. Holley is the founder and CEO of Holley Dental Group where he enjoys getting to serve the community with the highest standard of care and provide dental solutions to smile about! Dr. Holley received his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and has maintained a private practice in Prattville since 2001. At his practice, Dr. Holley incorporates Dental Implantology principles and procedures into a comprehensive oral health care philosophy. You can rest assured that compassionate, individualized care with mutual trust between patients, doctors, and team form the foundation of his treatment approach.
A fun fact about Dr. Holley: He and his wife, Mecia, have four sons.
Dr. Julie Sheffield
DMD | Associate Dentist
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Julie Sheffield began her studies in Polymer and Fiber Engineering at Auburn University before discovering her passion for dentistry. Inspired by her own oral surgeon’s story, she shadowed her dentist and quickly realized she wanted to pursue a career that combined science, skill, and patient care.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UAB School of Dentistry in 2018 and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at East Carolina University in 2019. Dr. Sheffield enjoys meeting, educating, and helping patients from all walks of life. Outside the office, she loves reading, spending time with her husband, Nick, and their son, Samuel, and playing with their dogs.
Elle Terrell
Office Manager & Dental Hygienist
Elle has been a valued member of our practice for three years, bringing both leadership and compassion to her dual roles as Office Manager and Dental Hygienist. Her passion for dentistry began with a desire to help others feel more confident in their smiles, and after completing dental assisting school, she knew she had found her calling. Elle loves guiding our team to provide the best patient experience in the tri-county area and enjoys working hands-on with patients during complex restorative cases. Outside the office, Elle enjoys spending time with her husband, Cole, and their two children, Ellison and Emersyn. Together, they love camping adventures and relaxing days at the beach.
Sheyla Marquez
Lead Dental Assistant
Sheyla has been part of our team for a combined two years and brings warmth, skill, and dedication to every patient she assists. She was drawn to dentistry by her desire to grow in a profession that allows her to truly help people. Sheyla finds the greatest joy in seeing patients regain their confidence through their smiles and in helping relieve their pain. She also values the strong sense of family within the office and enjoys the teamwork that makes each day rewarding. Outside of work, Sheyla loves spending quality time with her two sons and unwinding with a good book.
Kayla Bone
Lead Dental Hygienist
Kayla joined our practice a year ago and brings nearly two decades of experience and passion for patient care to our hygiene team. Inspired by her sister, who is also a dental hygienist, Kayla entered the dental field 18 years ago and has loved every moment since. She values the strong sense of family within the office, both among her teammates and with the patients she cares for. For Kayla, building lasting relationships and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles is what makes every day so meaningful. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their four wonderful kids, getting lost in a good book, and cheering from the sidelines as her children play the sports they love.
Chelsea Holden
Dental Hygienist
Chelsea has been a valued member of our practice for five years, bringing compassion and dedication to every patient she meets. After deciding to make a career change, she was drawn to dentistry for its hands-on nature and the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. With encouragement and mentorship from Dr. Holley, Chelsea quickly discovered her passion for helping others through dental care. She loves building relationships with patients, educating them about their oral health, and helping them overcome dental anxiety with comfort and understanding. Outside the office, Chelsea enjoys crocheting and spending quality time with her husband and family.
Melanie Clark
Dental Hygienist
Melanie joined our practice a year and a half ago, bringing over 35 years of experience and a true passion for patient care. She began her career as a dental assistant and discovered a lifelong love for helping others through dentistry. Melanie especially enjoys educating her patients on proper oral hygiene and giving them the tools they need to maintain healthy, confident smiles. Outside the office, she enjoys sewing, traveling, and spending cherished time with her four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Harley Price
Dental Hygienist
Harley is in her first year with our practice and has already become a wonderful part of the team. Her journey in dentistry began right after high school, when she worked as a dental assistant for three years before continuing her education to become a dental hygienist. Harley enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for during every visit. Outside the office, she loves reading, spending time with her family, and sharing her passion for music by singing at church.
Kaycee Jordan
Insurance Coordinator
Kaycee is in her first year with our practice and brings a passion for helping patients navigate the often-complex world of dental insurance. Her career in the field began at just 18 years old, when she was given an opportunity to join the office where her sister worked, and she’s been dedicated to helping patients ever since. Kaycee enjoys all aspects of insurance coordination and takes pride in helping patients better understand their coverage so they can make the most of their benefits. Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family and relaxing by the beach.
Payton Herring
Dental Assistant
Payton is in her first year with our practice and has quickly become a valued part of the team. She was drawn to dentistry by her desire to help patients look and feel their best, giving them confidence in their smiles. Payton loves the positive, supportive atmosphere in the office and takes great satisfaction in helping patients find relief from pain and leave feeling cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time shopping and taking her dog for walks.
Isabel Ramirez
Dental Assistant
Isabel has been part of our practice for two years and brings great enthusiasm and positivity to the team each day. Her passion for dental care began after witnessing her sister’s smile transformation, which inspired her to help others experience the same renewed confidence. Isabel loves the teamwork and uplifting atmosphere in the office, where every day is filled with collaboration and smiles. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, shopping, painting, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Mary Kate Patterson

Mary Kate joined our practice a year ago and quickly became a valued member of our team. Her journey into dentistry began after high school when she shadowed her sister, who was also a dental assistant, and she soon discovered her own passion for helping others through patient care. Mary Kate loves the positive, supportive environment her coworkers create each day and enjoys being part of a team that makes a real difference for patients. Outside the office, she loves spending time outdoors walking or running, being with family and friends, and, of course, a little shopping!

Outside the office, Chelsea spends her free time with her husband, Cory, and their daughter, Blakely, making memories together.
